M. Nowak-Kulpa - Don't be afraid to live life till the end

We speak of trauma when we feel helpless in the face of a difficult situation. This is why we should all feel a sense of trauma about our inevitable death, as we are all helpless in the face of this reality.
However, death and dying need not be frightening topics if approached through thoughtful conversation. When treating patients, we focus on sources of strength and currents that carry us down the river of life.

Sometimes, however, we overlook the fact that the river ultimately flows into the sea and merges with its vast waters. Not talking about death won’t make it disappear, it will only leave us with the fear of the inevitable.

During this workshop, we will discuss and share experiences broaching the subject of death with patients nearing its shores. In this intimate setting, we will discover how to not be afraid of life until the very end.
