C. Casula - Laboratory for creating therapeutic metaphors to explore emotions
Emotions are physiological, cognitive, behavioral and spiritual responses to internal and external stimuli.
This workshop offers a structure and some basic ingredients to create metaphors on helping patients to deal with their emotions.
The workshop begins with exploring some characteristics and functions, intensity and duration, time frame and direction of the basic emotions.
This preliminary exploration helps to create stories in which the protagonist of the metaphor learns through trial and error to become more emotionally intelligent discovering the most appropriate emotion to the circumstances.
During this workshop participants will experiment how to create metaphors on different type of emotions.
